On Saturday, Oct. 28, Gustavus Adolphus College played its final home football game of the 2006 season—the last on the current Hollingsworth Field. After the game (about 3:30 p.m.), the current stadium was decommissioned followed by the official ground breaking for a new stadium to be ready for the beginning of next football season.
