Susan J. Alexis has been selected as the recipient of the 2009 Association of Congregations Service Award. The award will be presented during daily chapel. Alexis, who holds a master's degree in Spanish, has traveled abroad with health care Volunteers in Medical Missions in Nicaragua, Peru, Honduras, Ecuador, Venezuela, Uruguay, Mexico, and Guatamala, providing interpretive services. In hopes of a better world, and in putting her talents to work, she exemplifies living a life of leadership and service.
