Scarecrow Contest

Come participate in the arboretum's annual Scarecrow Contest! Last year's awards included "Most Recyclable," "Most Informative," "Best Use of Nylon Stockings," "Best Use of One's Own Personal Sweater," and "Most Likely to Cause Nightmares." Straw will be available at the Arboretum's Borgeson Cabin beginning at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 7 and scarecrows must be finished by 10:30 on the morning of Friday, Oct. 9 for judging.
