Wall Street greed, bureaucratic incompetence, too much regulation, not enough regulation. These are among the numerous and conflicting explanations regarding what has caused the recent financial crisis. We will discuss the short-term and long-term causes of the economic downturn as well as where the economy may be headed and what needs to be done.
