Dr. Jason Smerdon ( 98) from Columbia University will deliver a lecture, Spaghetti Plots, Hockey Sticks, Pseudo-Realities and Congressional Oversight: A Decade of Attempts to Reconstruct the Climate of the Last Millennium, . Dr. Smerdon will be on campus to receive the Gustavus Alumni Association s First Decade Award and to interact with Gustavus physics and geology students. The talk is free and open to the public.
