Season Summary – It was a banner year for the women’s cross country team as they claimed the program’s first ever MIAC title, finished third at the NCAA Central Region meet and finished 12th at the NCAA Championships. The Gusties also had a successful regular season as they won the St.Mary’s and Grinnell Invitationals and finished second at the Hanover and St. John’s Invitationals. Post-season honors included senior Jen Skalko and juniors Nichole Petersen and Tasha Pike earning all-conference honors, and Skalko and Petersen also earning all-region honors.
