Congratulations to junior pitcher Maizie Anderson, who was named the MIAC Softball Pitcher of the Week on Monday, March 17!
Anderson picked up a complete game victory and a save in a non-conference sweep of Bethany Lutheran on Friday, March 14, pitching the final 1.2 innings in game one, allowing just one hit and striking out three in seven batters faced for the 5-4 victory. In game two, Anderson pitched all seven innings, allowing three earned runs on 11 hits, striking out six batters and walking just two.
