Gusties Win 12th Consecutive MIAC Crown


(St. Peter, Minn., May 4, 2002) – The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s tennis team continued their MIAC dominance by winning their 12th consecutive MIAC Championship. The Gusties have won 14 of the previous 15 MIAC crowns. Currently rated fifth in the NCAA and first in the Central Region, Gustavus swept all nine brackets in the conference tournament, winning six singles titles and three doubles titles. Number one seeds Kara Smiley, Kristin Donley, Allison Kramer, and Kris Rosborough all finished the MIAC season undefeated.
