Season Summary – The Gusties won the MIAC Championship in convincing fashion over defending champion St. Olaf. Coach Jon Carlson’s squad won nine event titles including five individual event titles and four relay titles. Individual event champions included Beth DeLaRosby in the 50 and 100 freestyle, Eva Miller in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and Katie Garvey in the 100 butterfly. Swimmers earning all-conference honors included DeLaRosby, Miller, Garvey, Laura Watkins, Katherine Haynes, Emily King, Laura Decknatel, Yoshi Ludwig, Jess Weggeman and Jessica Coleman. Gustavus has now won two MIAC titles in the past three years. The Gusties completed their season by finishing 13th at the NCAA championships as four swimmers earned All-America honors.
