Gustavus competed at the St. Olaf Invitational in Ironwood, Michigan on Wolverine Trails on Saturday, January 25. The Gusties tied for third out of nine teams in the 5K freestyle competition with a score of 54. Sunday's classic race was cancelled due to cold temperatures.
Kelly Damrow (SO, Roseville, MN) was the first Gustie to cross the finish line. She placed 18th overall with a time of 20:39.
Gustavus returns to action on Saturday and Sunday by traveling to the Northern Michigan University Invitational in Ishpeming, Michigan.
