The Gustavus women's soccer team suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to St. Thomas in double overtime on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. The Tommies' Erin Sprangers scored the game-winner with :10 left in the second overtime with a hard drive into the left corner of the net from about eight yards out. The Gustavus goal was scored by Amy Kunkel in the 62nd minute. The Gusties end their season at 8-10-0 overall and 3-8-0 in the MIAC.

MIAC Announces Fall 2007 Academic All-Conference
The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) recently announced its Fall 2007 Academic All-Conference honorees. The MIAC recognized 304 student-athletes who represented the conference's thirteen institutions. Student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior, or senior with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale to qualify for MIAC Academic All-Conference recognition.

Women's Soccer Falls to Macalester 2-1
The Gustavus women's soccer team saw its record fall to 3-7-0 on the season with a 2-1 loss at Macalester on Wednesday night. The Scots controlled play for much of the match outshooting the Gusties 20-2 and holding a 7-1 advantage on corner kicks. Becca Hagen scored the lone goal for Gustavus with 5:20 remaining in the game. The Gusties close out their season with a home match against St. Thomas on Saturday at 1:00 pm.

Women's Soccer Loses 2-0 at UW-La Crosse
The Gustavus women's soccer team allowed two first half goals and suffered its third consecutive shutout losing to UW-La Crosse 2-0 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The Gusties are now 7-8-0 overall on the season.

Women's Soccer Shutout by Bethel 2-0
The Gustavus women's soccer team continued to struggle to score goals falling 2-0 to Bethel at Gustavus on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties controlled play for much of the game out-shooting the Royals 16-11, while holding an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks, however Bethel scored twice in a three-minute span late in the first half and claimed the 2-0 victory.
