Women's Golf In Eighth Place After First Day of NCAA Championships

The Gustavus women's golf team is in eighth place after the first day of the NCAA Division III Championships which are being held at Centennial Oaks Golf Club in Waverly, Iowa. The Gusties were sparked by the play of Rachel Roberg and Katie Schenfeld, who fired seven-over par rounds of 79. Gustavus, which shot a first round team score of 323 trails first place Methodist, which shot a 307, by 16 shots. Gustavus will begin its second round on Wednesday morning at 7:30 am (CDT). The tournament, which is a four-day tournament, will conclude on Friday.
