Monday, May 5, 2008 (2 weeks ago)

The NCAA Division III Men's Golf Selection Committee announced the Gustavus men's golf team was selected as one of 35 teams to participate in the 2008 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships. Coach Scott Moe and the Golden Gusties earned a spot in the national tournament by virtue of capturing the MIAC Championships this past fall. The championships will be held May 13-16 at the Chateau Elan Resort in Braselton, Georgia and hosted by Emory University.

Gustavus, which will be competing in its 23rd NCAA Championship in 24 years, is one of two teams from the MIAC to make the field, joining defending national champion Saint John's.
