Jordan Hawkinson Named MIAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College senior Jordan Hawkinson (Lindstrom, Minn./Chisago Lakes) has been named the MIAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week by the league coaches. Hawkinson finished second individually with a score of 74-74--148 at the 18-team Wartburg Invitational held in Waverly, Iowa at Centennial Oaks Golf Course. The Golden Gusties won the team title at the Invitational with a two-day score of 306-300--606. Gustavus, which is ranked third in the most recent Golf World/Nike Golf Division III Coaches' poll, edged Maryville (Mo.) by three strokes.
