Gustavus Adolphus College junior Lisa Brown (Lake Crystal, Minn.) has been named the MIAC Field Athlete of the Week by the league track and field coaches. Brown won the javelin at the Central Invitational this past Saturday with an automatic national qualifying throw of 151' 2". She also placed second in the shot put with a throw of 42' 6 3/4". That toss provisionally qualifies her for NCAA Championships in the shot put. The Gusties finished fourth out of 17 teams at the meet.
