Women's Golf Competes At Ponte Vedra Beach

The Gustavus women's golf team shot a 332 at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Ocean Course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. in a dual meet against Division II Flagler College. Rachel Roberg (Sr., Rice Lake, Minn.) paced the Gusties at 79 on the par-72 course. Flagler had its two participants shoot an 84 and an 87.
Kali Griggs (So., Burnsville, Minn.) finished three strokes behind Roberg at 82. Katie Schenfeld (Fy., Indianola, Iowa) and Kimbra Kosak (Jr., Grand Rapids, Minn.) turned in cards under 90 with scores of 85 and 86, respectively. Amanda Johnson (So., Bemidji, Minn.) rounded out the team score for the Gusties at 90. Individually, Lauren Runsvold (Jr., Fargo, N.D.) completed the round with an 87.
Gustavus will compete at the Wartburg Invitational, the site of the 2008 NCAA Women's Golf Championships, in Waverly, Iowa on April 5-6.
