Men's Golf Finishes Three Strokes Behind Flagler College

The Gustavus men's golf team posted a team score of 303 to finish three strokes behind Division II Flagler College, which had a team score of 300, on Thursday in a dual meet at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Lagoon Course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Ricky Copeland (So., Mathomedi, Minn.) paced the Gusties with a 73 on the par-72 course.
Jordan Hawkinson (Sr., Lindstrom, Minn.) finished one stroke behind Copeland at 74. Josh Curb (So., Bemidji, Minn.) and Kyle Rohlfs (Sr., Fergus Falls, Minn.) turned in cards under 80 with scores of 77 and 79, respectively. Eric Harris (Sr., Eden Prairie, Minn.) rounded out the top five for the Gusties at 84. Individually, A.J. Olson (So., White Bear Lake, Minn.) finished with a score of 85, while Derek Hilding (So., Willmar, Minn.) completed the round with a 92.
