Gymnasts Drop Season Opener at UW-Whitewater 170.550 to 180.875

The Gustavus women's gymnastics team opened its season with a 170.550 to 180.875 loss at the Univeristy of Wisconsin - Whitewater. The Gusties top performance was recorded by Jessica Dolan who tied for second on the vault with a score of 9.275.
Gustavus totalled its top team score on the vault with a score of 44.475. Dolan led the way on the vault with her 9.275. Aryn Bell was not far behind with a score of 9.075. Other team event totals for Gustavus included a score of 39.050 on the uneven bars, 42.90 on the balance beam, 44.475 on the vault, and 44.125 on the floor exercise.
The Gusties next meet is Friday, January 18 at the Hamline Invitational.
