deLaubenfels Finishes Second at MSU-Mankato Open

Cross country runner Chris deLaubenfels (Mount Vernon, Iowa) turned in his best finish of the season finishing second in 20:28 at the MSU-Mankato Open in Mankato Saturday. No team scores were kept as Gustavus, MSU-Mankato, and St. Cloud State were the only schools competing in the 6K race. John Leaf was the second Gustie to cross the finish in 12th-place with a time of 21:14. Five other Gustavus runners competed in the race.
Gustavus will compete at the Jim Drews Invitational hosted by UW-La Crosse Saturday, October 13.
