Women's Golf Finishes Second at MIAC Championships

Kimbra Kosak finished in a tie for fifth.
Kali Griggs finished in a tie for 7th.
Katie Schenfeld finished in a tie for 10th.

The Gustavus women's golf team finished second at the 2007 MIAC Championships which were held at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. The Gusties fired a 54-hole total of 326-318-342--986 and finished 19 shots behind St. Thomas which recorded a score of 322-316-329-967. Gustavus was led by Rachel Roberg, who placed third with a total of 81-79-82--242.
The Gusties struggled a bit on the final day posting a total of 342 (+50) which was their highest score of the weekend. All five Gustavus golfers finished in the top 12 individually including Roberg, Kimbra Kosak, who finished in a tie for fifth at 86-78-84--248, Kali Griggs, who placed in a tie for seventh at 81-80-90--251, Katie Schenfeld, who placed tenth with a total of 81-86-86--253, and Amanda Johnson, who finished 12th with a total of 83-81-90.
Roberg, Kosak, Griggs, and Schenfeld all earned all-conference honors by finishing in the top ten individually.
