Women's Golf in Second Place After First Day of MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women's golf team posted a team score of 326 and trails defending champion St. Thomas, which posted a score of 322, by four strokes heading into the second day of the three-day tournament.Rachel Roberg, Kali Griggs, and Katie Schenfeld all recorded rounds of 81 to lead Gustavus. The tournament is being played at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.

Joining Roberg, Griggs, and Schenfeld on the scorecard for Gustavus was Amanda Johnson, who posted a score of 83. Kimbra Kosak added the fifth score with an 86.

The 54-hole tournament will resume on Sunday morning with the final round being played on Monday.
