Women's Cross Country Fourth at Bison Open, Edlund Finished Fifth

The Gustavus women's cross country team placed fourth out of five teams at the North Dakota State University (NDSU) Bison Open. The Gusties posted a team total of 93 points which was 56 points behind first place NDSU (37). Senior Laura Edlund (Forest Lake, Minn.) turned in a fifth-place finish with a time of 19:21.20.
Other finishes for the Gusties included Brooke Beskau (Fy., Hastings, Minn.) finishing 21st (20:08.13), Megan Lundgren (Fy., Mankato, Minn.) finishing 23rd (20:19.94), Sarah Willis (Sr., Willmar, Minn.) finishing 27th (20:31.35), Kate Reins (Fy., Osseo, Minn.) finishing 31st (20:41.96), Kathy Westergren (Fy., Duluth, Minn) finishing 34th (20:53.92), and Kelly Chadouin (Jr., Ely, Minn.) finishing 43rd (21:19.07).
