Women's Basketball loses to Concordia 62-66

The Gustavus Adolphus women's basketball team lost 62-66 on Saturday afternoon at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn. The Cobbers improve to 12-4 overall and 10-3 in the MIAC, while the Gusties fall to 11-4 overall and 10-3 in the MIAC.

Kristen Kachelmyer and Angie Peterson each contributed 13 points. Sara Boldt followed by scoring 10 points. Gustavus shot 31.6 percent from the field and only had 10 points in the paint.

The Cobbers were led in scoring by Anne Keeley with 16 points. Mandy Pearson contributed 12 points and Debbie Slack recorded 11 points for the Cobbers. Concordia shot 51.9 percent from the field and had 40 points in the paint.

Gustavus and Concordia are now tied for third place in the MIAC. Concordia will play St. Ben's, the conference leader, on Wednesday night at home. Gustavus will not play again until Saturday when they face St. Kate's at home.
