Men's Swimming Claims 217-71 Dual Meet Win over Carleton

The Gustavus men's swimming and diving team defeated Carleton 217-71 in Northfield on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties won 14 of the 16 events in the meet.

Gustavus controlled its MIAC dual meet with Carleton from start to finish. The Gusties won 12 individual events and two relays. Will Sutor and Kent Kramer were the only double event winners for the Gusties. Sutor won the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard butterfly, while Kramer won the 200 yard freestyle and the 500 yard freestyle. Other individual winners included Jeff Pearson in the 100 yard backstroke, Brad Hammer in the 100 yard breaststroke, Tane Danger in one meter diving, Andrew Howard in three meter diving, Scott Hagemeyer in the 100 yard freestyle, Seth Wiedmann in the 200 yard backstroke, TJ McMillan in the 200 yard breaststroke, and Mike Bohnett in the 200 yard individual medley. The Gusties also won the 200 yard medley relay (Mike Maynard, Will Sutor, Marc Maynard, Scott Hagemeyer) and the 400 yard freestyle relay (Kramer, Sutor, Evan Christianson, Hagemeyer).
