Women's Cross Country Second at UW-River Falls Invite, Harren Wins Individual Title

The Gustavus women's cross country team placed second out of five teams at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls Invitational. The Gusties posted a team total of 50 points which was 16 points behind first place St. Thomas (34). HHeidi Bulfer (Sr., Fairmont, Minn.)ailey Harren (Sr., Cold Spring, Minn.) finished first individually with a personal best time of 21:37.7 in the 6,000 meter race.
Other finishes for the Gusties included Sarah Bernhardson (Jr., Eden Prairie, Minn.) finishing third (23:08.1), Laura Edlund (Jr., Forest Lake, Minn.) finishing 12th (24:04.7), Val Berquam (Sr., Kenyon, Minn.) placing 15th (24:49.2), finishing 19th (25:07.9), Sarah Willis (Jr., Willmar, Minn.) placing 21st (25:26.2), and Maari Hanson (Jr., Little Falls, Minn.) finishing 23rd (25:38.9).
