Gustavus senior Chandra Daw (Duluth, Minn.) will participate in the 53rd NCAA National Collegiate Skiing Championships this weekend, March 8-11, at Howelson Hill and Mount Werner near Steamboat Springs, Colo. Daw, Gustavus' first national qualifier (male or female), is one of six participants in women's Nordic from a Division III school.

Daw will participate in the 5-kilometer Classic race Thursday, March 9 at 9:30 a.m. MST and the 15-kilometer Freestyle race Saturday, March 11 at noon MST. Both races will be run on Howelsen Hill.

The University of Denver, one of six teams with a full compliment of 12 skiers, enters as the defending champion. The University of Colorado, Boulder, is this year's host.
