Men's Soccer Draws With St. Thomas 0-0

The Gustavus men's soccer team played the University of St. Thomas to a scoreless tie Wednesday afternoon in St. Paul.

Gustavus held a 6-2 edge in corner kicks, but were outshot 13-11 during the match. Gustie keeper Tyler Garry (Jr., Sioux Falls, S.D.) and his Tommy counterpart Matt Carlson each recorded four saves. For Garry, it was his third shut-out of the season as he moved his record in net to 5-1-1.

The Gusties move to 7-2-3 overall and 4-1-2 in the MIAC with the tie, while St. Thomas moves to 12-2-1 overall, 5-1-1 in the league.

Gustavus will host #4 UC-Santa Cruz on Friday afternoon in St. Peter.
