Women's Golf Struggles on First Day of MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women's golf team had a rough first day at the MIAC Championships which are being held at StoneRidge Golf Course in Stillwater, Minn. The Gusties fired a first round score of 345 and trail first place St. Thomas by 16 strokes. Erin Schliep led Gustavus with a first round score of 82. The final round will be played on Sunday.

Other first round totals for the Gusties included Alana Reetz with an 84, defending conference individual champion Kelli Groff with an 86, Rachel Roberg with a 93, Breanne Staples with a 93, and Kimbra Kosak with a 94.
