The Gustavus men's tennis doubles team of Andy Bryan and Charlie Paukert won its first round match at the NCAA Championship in Lewiston, Maine on Friday afternoon. Bryan and Paukert defeated David Ashlock and Dustin Phillips of Texas-Tyler 6-2, 6-3 and will now face the third seeded team of Filip Marinkovic and Andrew Thomson of Middlebury on Saturday afternoon in a quarterfinal match.

The Gustavus men's tennis team lost to Washington University of St. Louis 5-0 in a NCAA Quarterfinal match on Tuesday evening. The NCAA Championship is being hosted by Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. The Gusties, who failed to advance the semifinal round at the NCAA Tournament for only the second time in the past nine years, finish the season with a record of 29-6. -

The Gustavus men advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament for the ninth consecutive year with a 5-0 win over the University of Texas at Tyler on Sunday afternoon at the Brown Tennis Courts on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus. The Gusties, who won their 12th consecutive match improve to 29-5 on the season. -
Men's Tennis Advances To Round Three of NCAA Tournament With 5-1 Win Over Luther
The Gustavus men's tennis team advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament with a hard-fought 5-1 win over Luther College at the Swanson Tennis on the Gustavus campus on Saturday afternoon. Gustavus will face the Univ. of Texas at Tyler in a third round match on Sunday at noon. -
Andy Bryan Named Arthur Ashe Award Winner By MIAC Tennis Coaches
Gustavus senior tennis player Andy Bryan has been named the 2008 winner of the Arthur Ashe Award selected by the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) men's tennis coaches. The award is presented to the player that best combines tennis ability, with academic success, sportsmanship, and community service.
