MIAC: 9-1 (1st place)
The Gustavus Adolphus College Men's Soccer team won the 2000 MIAC Men's Soccer title with a thrilling overtime victory over Macalester College in the final game of the regular season. Gustavus then advanced to the NCAA West Regional Championship, falling to eventual semifinalist Linfield, 2-4. In addition to the successful season, many players received extended recognition. The following list comprises the awards won throughout the year by the Gustie soccer team:

11/16 Four Gusties were named to the MIAC All-Conference Team: Scott Crowell, Mike Orr, Ross Smith, and Adam Macleod-Roth.
11/16 Scott Crowell named MIAC Player of the Year.
11/28 Head Coach Larry Zelenz named MIAC Coach of the Year.
12/13 Three Gusties were named to the All-Midwest Region Team: Scott Crowell, Mike Orr, and Ross Smith.
12/13 Scott Crowell was named First Team All-American.
