Season Summary – Coach Kris Glidden’s squad turned in another strong season posting a 6-1 dual meet record and a second place finish at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) West Regional. The Gusties have been led by junior Amanda Parker who finished first in the all-around in eight of the team’s 10 meets during the season. Other top competitors have been Alyssa Cox on the vault, Ashley Erickson on the vault and uneven bars, Molly McIntyre on the uneven bars and balance beam, and Therese Gay and Nicole Gergen on the floor exercise. The Gusties went on to finish fifth at the NCGA Championships. Amanda Parker finished second in the all-around and sixth on the balance beam, while Ashley Erickson placed third on the uneven bars. Both athletes earned All-America honors.
