Gustavus gymnasts Aryn Bell and Laura Hansen completed their 2008 seasons by competing at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Championships at Cortland State University in Cortland, New York. Bell finished in a tie for 42nd on the vault with a score of 9.225, while Hansen placed 52nd on the balance beam with a score of 8.475.

Gymnasts Laura Hansen and Aryn Bell To Compete in NCGA Championships in Cortland, New York This Weekend
Gustavus gymnasts Laura Hansen and Aryn Bell will take part in the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) this Friday and Saturday at Cortland State University in Cortland, New York. Hansen qualified individually on the balance beam, while Bell qualified on the vault. This will be the third consecutive year that Hansen has participated at the national meet, however it will be the first appearance for Bell.

Gymnastics Team Finishes Seventh At WIAC Championships
The Gustavus gymnastics team completed its 2008 season with a seventh place finish at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships, which were held at Hamline University. The Gusties posted a team score of 176.75. UW-La Crosse won the meet with a score of 186.200. Laura Hansen posted the top individual finish for Gustavus with a seventh place finish on the balance beam with a score of 9.40.

Women's Gymnastics Team Will Compete At WIAC Championships This Saturday
The Gustavus women's gymnastics team will take part in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday at 2:00 pm at Hamline University. The top three team finishers at the conference meet qualify for the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Championships which will take place March 28-29 at Cortland State University in Cortland, New York.

Gymnastics Team Places Third At UW-La Crosse Triangular With A Score of 174.825
The Gustavus gymnastics team wrapped up its regular season schedule by posting a score of 174.825 at the UW-La Crosse Triangular. The host Eagles finished first with a score of 183.975, UW-Eau Claire placed second at 176.325, and Gustavus finished third at 174.825. Junior Laura Hansen turned in the top performance for the Gusties as she tied for second on the uneven parallel bars with a score of 9.250.
