Rebecca Fremo

I teach a variety of courses, including Academic Writing, Writing Creative Nonfiction, First Term, Seminar, Art of Interpretation, and Adolescent Literature and Literacy.  Writing is an integral, dynamic part of all of my courses, and I try to help my students pay attention to the ways that our identities shape our reading and writing practices.

I'm working on a project called Locating Readers: Understanding Encounters with Students' Texts, and I recently published my first two poems in a collection called County Lines (Loonfeather Press).  During the summer I enjoy taking road trips on our Honda Goldwing, riding my bike with my three little boys, and gardening.
