Cindy Johnson-Groh is the Executive Director of the Linnaeus Arboretum, associate professor in biology and environmental studies and is a self-proclaimed "plant pusher" with passion for plant biology, ecology and the importance of plants in our world. Cindy oversees the Arboretum, staff and Friends and teaches in biology and environmental studies. She has a soft spot for woody plants and is especially interested in their biology and importance. Cindy teaches Conservation Biology, Plant Systematics, Organismal Biology, Environmental Justice and the Natural History of Tanzania. Cindy is a plant ecologist with an interest in plant conservation, particularly the rare genus of ferns, moonworts (Botrychium).
