Linnaeus Symposium

The Linnaeus Symposium is a series of lectures focusing on a specific topic relating to plants. Beginning in 2003 and held biennially since 2007, the Linnaeus Symposium occurs in late April and usually coincides with Arbor Day. Experts on the topic of each year's symposium are invited to campus to present on their research and work. Past symposiums have also featured interpretive dances, guided arboretum hikes, a "Tree Dinner," and a watercolor art exhibit.

The next Linnaeus Symposium is scheduled for April 2011.
