Building relationships to support institutional advancement work begins with selecting and retaining a top-flight, motivated, results-oriented staff committed to Gustavus' mission. The process continues when staff meet with alumni and friends to tell the College's story and explain what their gift will accomplish. When staff can discern donor interests, aspirations, and motivations, they can be confident in asking for gift support.
