Pre-Medical Program
The practice of medicine is a career that combines lifelong study, service to relieve human suffering, and daily application of a rigorous science background. Research may be added to this role, as well. The medical profession offers intellectual challenges, job security, and an important place within the social structure of a community. However, it demands long hours, lengthy training, and devotion to the profession. It requires that an individual possess mature ethical standards, be motivated toward the health and welfare of mankind, and be capable of the highest academic performance.
