I received my high school education at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School, an interfaith Jesuit school in Indianapolis, Indiana
I also obtained a minor in Chemistry and completed the Industry/University Cooperative Education program at Purdue University
Since successfully defending my dissertation, I have bee a post-doctoral researcher with R. James Kirkpatrick in the Department of Geology at the University of Illinois and the Department of Chemistry at Michigan State University
I enjoy teaching and have more than two years of experience teaching general chemistry lab at the Collegiate level
I received the Dan Waugh Memorial Teaching Award in 2003 based largely on student evaluations and feedback
