Gustavus Student Nurses Association

The Gustavus Student Nurses Association is an academic organization of nursing students wishing to increase general health and awareness at Gustavus Adophus College and to represent the college through involvement with community, state, and national levels while also providing a social atmosphere where nursing students can increase their own awareness of current nursing issues.

Members must be junior or senior nursing majors, preferably belonging to the National Student Nurses Association. Members must be in good standing with Gustavus Adolphus College and will not be discriminated against based age, race, or gender.

Gustie nursing students also have leadership opportunities incorporated into their coursework, including a trip to the state capital to lobby for adaquate staffing for nurses. Read the "Code Red for Care" article found on Workday Minnesota website that features Gustavus nursing majors.
