Brass Choir
About the choir
As the elite large brass ensemble at Gustavus, the Gustavus Brass Choir has a special role both on and off campus. While much of the fall semester is dedicated to the Christmas in Christ Chapel performances, the spring term offers a chance to explore music written for ensembles such as the Summit Brass and Phillip Jones Brass Ensemble.
The Brass Choir meets Wednesday afternoons at 3:30pm. They perform at chapel and for area congregations throughout the year, with a major concert in the spring. You are encouraged to audition... if you are ready for a musical challenge!

- Christmas in Christ Chapel
- The Brass Choir performs in this seasonal event every year. Come hear us December 1st-3rd in Christ Chapel.
- Brassworks!
- The fall Brassworks! concert will be Sunday, December 10th at 1:30 PM in the Bjorling Recital Hall. Joining the Brass Choir will be the Christ Chapel Brass and the Gustavus Trombone Choir.
News
We will play for the Nobel conference, Christmas in Christ Chapel, the two Brassworks! concerts and various church and chapel functions.

Timothy O'Brien
