Letter of Introduction

Dear Student Musicians,
It is my pleasure to greet you on behalf of the
Department of Music. I hope that you have had a great summer.
Welcome back, returning students! The members of the music faculty appreciate the contributions you have made to our program in the past and anticipate that you will continue to provide strong leadership in the coming year. It is great to have you back on campus!
And, it is with great pleasure that I welcome
our new students! We are very excited about your involvement in the Department
of Music curriculum and we look forward to the unique contributions that each of
you will make to the program. It is good to have you here!
This new academic year holds many promises that will
become realities as we work together. Through your efforts in lessons,
ensembles, and the classroom our common goals of improved individual and
collective musicianship will be realized.
With high hopes for our creative colloboration, I wish
you a most successful year.
