Course reserves are materials that are made available for the students in a class to read. In some cases course reserves are digitized and retrievable from the Web, but in others they are in print or audiovisual form only and must be checked out at the library Circulation/Reserve desk, the Audiovisual desk, or the Music Library using a Gustavus ID card.
Faculty: Contact the library if you have questions about materials placed on reserve in previous semesters. Click here for general information on placing material on reserve.
The library adheres to U.S. Copyright law and its provisions for fair use. For more information on e-reserves see the Association of College and Research Libraries' Statement on Fair Use and E-Reserves and to the Music Library Association's Statement on the Digital Transmission of Electronic Reserves.
