 Citing Your Sources: MLA Style
Modern Language Association (MLA) style requires in-text parenthetical citations throughout the text and an alphabatized list of works cited at the end of the paper. Please see Lunsford's Everyday Writer, chapter 54, or the MLA website for more information.

PLEASE NOTE: In-text citations will vary depending on how much information you give about the source in the text of your paper. For example, if you refer to the author by name, include only the page number in the in-text citation:

Lofgren found similar results in his study (235).

For more information on parenthetical citations, see Everyday Writer, 369-373.
