A CD-ROM database of global information and statistics compiled yearly and available in most on-campus computer labs. To access this resource using a campus computer, visit the Start Menu and navigate to 'All Programs,' 'Library Resources,' then World Development Indicators. User guides from McGill and Michigan may help you learn how to search for selected data and export it to Excel. Only 16 authorized users may access this resource at one time.

  Antique Atlases from the David Rumsey Map Collection
Page images of hundreds of antique atlases that can be searched, viewed, printed, saved, etc. The collection is divided geographically into smaller sections that cover North America, Africa, and Europe. After clicking on over to one of these sections, visitors will be presented with a complete list of the available atlases. As the site utilizes the powerful Insight Browser, visitors can scroll around on each document at their leisure, zooming in and out along the way.   Broer Map Library: Online Historic Maps
A growing collection of thousands of online historic maps from around the world. Several native language atlases (e.g. German maps of Germany) as well as historic road maps, topographical maps and military maps are available. Many are viewable in Google Earth so the viewer can compare the historic map with modern conditions. Search, or browse by region. Users may also search the Historic Map Index, which includes information about 60,000 historic maps in over 100 other online collections.
  Geospatial One Stop
A one-stop service to access maps created by a variety of federal agencies. A search engine lets users fill in basic information about the "what" and "where" of a geographical feature and returns all available map materials associated with it. Special interest maps are also available for browsing.
