CINAHL , a nursing index with links to full-text journal articles
Britannica Online, a web version of the classic encyclopedia.
FirstSearch, a collection of many databases; obtain an authorization number and password at the reference desk.
Ideal Library, full text of all journals published by Academic Press.
Journal of Biological Chemistry , now available only online.
Lexis-Nexis , a collection of news, business, and legal databases, mostly full text.
MathSciNet, a mathematics database.
MLA International Bibliography, a literature database-located at the bottom of the page.
Project Muse, electronic journals published by Johns Hopkins University.
PsychLit, 1975 - present; the most complete index to research in psychology.
America, History and Life, 1982 - present; abstracts of research on American history and culture.
ComSearch 95, covers the full contents of 22 journals from the Speech Communications Association and includes some abstracts and full text articles; an electronic successor to the old Matlon Index.
Ethnic News Watch, 1994 - present; full text articles from publications from African-American, Asian/Pacific Islander, European/Eastern European, Jewish, Arab/Middle Eastern, and Native American communities.
