Finding Books
WebPALS (Basic) (Advanced)
This is our library catalog. Basic search allows you to search by author, title, etc. Advanced search allows you to limit by date, additional keywords, collection area, and so on. In your list of results, the Location column shows call numbers--where books are shelved. You can also choose other libraries to search from this catalog and ask for books through interlibrary loan (ILL). Locations beginning A--PQ are on the third floor. Locations PR--Z are shelved on the second (main) floor. Journals are downstairs and often online.

WorldCat
This database doesn't search only libraries in Minnesota or the United States, it searches libraries throughout the world (sort of). Materials found here are sometimes available through ILL.
