Communication and Mass Media Complete: This database originated with the merging of two databases in the fields of communication and mass media studies -- CommSearch and Mass Media Articles Index.
Congressional Universe: Offers an index of congressional publications from 1970 to the present, legislative histories for public laws, and testimony of congressional hearings. Tracks bills as t hey move through the House and Senate, searches the Congressional Record and Federal Register, and contains biographical and committee information.
FirstSearch: Allows users to search a set of over 15 periodical indexes and databases.
JSTOR: JSTOR is an archival database and does not include current journal issues, but provides complete full text back files for 78 journals from more than 15 academic disciplines. All journals are fully sea rchable or are available for browsing.
LexisNexis: A full text database service that is particularly strong in the areas of current news, legal information, and business information. It is a vast resource, with over a billion documents a lready available and over nine million new documents added weekly. Be sure to click on the "Guided News Search" tab, and change the date range if desired (default date range is the previous six months).
PAIS International: Represents coverage of the Public Affairs Information Service database since 1972. Topics covered include business, government, internationa l relations, the environment, health, social sciences, demographics, law and legislation, political science, public administration, education, and statistics. Contains citations and abstracts.
Project Muse: Provides full text electronic access to over 40 scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, and mathematics published by the Johns Hopkins University Press, and citati ons to many more.

PsycINFO: Use this database to find information on psychology, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, anthropology, law, and social work. Contains citat ions and abstracts ranging from 1872 to the present, and provides links to the full text of selected articles.
