From on campus | From off campus | Accessing Shared Collections

• If the catalog location says "GAC Bernadotte Library Netlibrary," you are looking at an ebook record.
• Click on the title to get to the full record.
• In the full record, scroll down to "Electronic Link" and click this to view the ebook.

To access Netlibrary books from off campus you must either:
1. create a Netlibrary account WHILE IN THE GAC LIBRARY
OR
2. use a public library card (from the St. Peter Public Library or any Minnesota public library)

To create a Netlibrary account:

• From a library computer, access www.netlibrary.com
• Create a username and password
• Next time you visit Netlibrary from off campus, you can log in to access ebooks that appear in the Gustavus library catalog.

To log in with a public library card:

• From any computer, access www.elm4you.org
• Click on "eBooks and Books."
• A new screen will appear where you can click on "Search Netlibrary eBooks."
• You will then be prompted to enter your Minnesota public library barcode.

To access all the shared collections of Netlibrary from on campus, without a Minnesota public library barcode:

• From the Books & More page, click on "MnLINK"
• Use the Current Profile drop-down menu and scroll to the bottom of the menu to locate "NetLibrary [shared]."
• Click on the bookshelf graphic that appears under Other Collections.
