From on campus | From off campus | Accessing Shared Collections
- If the catalog location says "GAC Bernadotte Library Netlibrary," you are looking at an ebook record.
- Click on the title to get to the full record.
- In the full record, scroll down to "Electronic Link" and click this to view the ebook.

To access Netlibrary books from off campus you must either:
1. create a Netlibrary account WHILE IN THE GAC LIBRARY
OR
2. use a public library card (from the St. Peter Public Library or any Minnesota public library)
To create a Netlibrary account:
- From a library computer, access www.netlibrary.com
- Create a username and password
- Next time you visit Netlibrary from off campus, you can log in to access ebooks that appear in the Gustavus library catalog.

To log in with a public library card:
- From any computer, access www.elm4you.org
- Click on "eBooks and Books."
- A new screen will appear where you can click on "Search Netlibrary eBooks."
- You will then be prompted to enter your Minnesota public library barcode.

Accessing Shared Collections:

To access all the shared collections of Netlibrary from on campus, without a Minnesota public library barcode:
- From the Books & More page, click on "MnLINK"
- Use the Current Profile drop-down menu and scroll to the bottom of the menu to locate "NetLibrary [shared]."
- Click on the bookshelf graphic that appears under Other Collections.
