The Office of International and Cultural Education has several advising services to help you select an off-campus study program. Here are the steps to follow to get the information you need.
On your own:
- Think about the kind of program you want (see Selecting a Program).
- Attend an information session to learn more. These are held every Wednesday between 2:30 and 3:00 pm in the Center for International and Cultural Education throughout the semester.
With our office:
- Meet with a Study Abroad Intern/Peer Advisor; Christine Askham or Sonja Pederson. Sign up sheets are available in the CICE.
- Pick up a Gustavus Application at the CICE.
- Meet with the Study Abroad Advisor for more information about program costs, the Gustavus application process, and for approval to study abroad. You will also be given directions for completing the program application. Sign up sheets for appointments are at the front desk in the CICE.
- If you have been approved for Study Abroad by the Center for International and Cultural Education, you will be given a packet of forms to complete.
