Physical Education majors prepare for a career in teaching. This major is typically combined with a second academic major such as health education and/or certification in adaptive physical education and coaching. Graduates teach and coach at the elementary or secondary level and many pursue graduate study in physical education, exercise physiology, adapted physical education, sport psychology, sport pedagogy, sports medicine, biomechanics, or motor learning. If you have questions about the major, please contact Jeanne Herman (933-7614) or email jherman@gustavus.edu
